Story of the style
Kiel 66 was the next successful stop in an already extraordinary season for Paul Elvstrøm. After he and his teammate faced a tough start to the Starboat event, lacking pace in the first three races, Elvstrøm performed a range of changes to the mast tuning. It turned out perfectly, and they found the lacking pace and managed to catch up. Eventually, they secured the GOLD in Kiel by the smallest of margins.
