Story of the style
Havana 57 was an unusual appearance, with Paul Elvstrøm participating as crew rather than the usual skipper. It was Elvstrøm‘s very first race in the Starboat. The French/Danish duo had a great start and won race 1. Still, soon after, they found themselves in a tight battle. Everything was on the line for the final as Elvstrøm and the nearest competitor finished with equal points. After the final, Elvstrøm had to settle for SILVER.
