Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery

When you place an order on the Elvstrøm Sailwear A/S webshop, you confirm that you have read, accepted, and agreed to the following terms and conditions.

1. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery Carriers:
Deliveries are handled by GLS, Bring, DHL Fedex or UPS.

Processing Time:
Orders are shipped within 1 working day after receipt, provided the items are in stock.

Estimated Delivery Times:

Denmark: 1–3 days
EU: 2–4 days
Norway and Switzerland: 3–5 days
Rest of the world: 3-7 days

Delivery Charges:
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

2. Prices

Prices on the website include VAT within the EU, based on the customer’s location according to EU rules.
Prices for countries outside the EU exclude VAT. (Norway is with VAT)
Import Duties & Taxes (Orders Outside the EU)

Orders shipped to countries outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, VAT/GST, customs clearance fees, and other local charges imposed by the destination country.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping costs and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept that any applicable import duties, taxes, customs fees, or other charges must be paid by you upon delivery.

If you refuse to pay these charges and the shipment is returned to us, any return shipping costs, customs charges, and administrative fees incurred will be deducted from your refund.

3. Returns and Cancellations

Cancellations:
If you cancel an order, the items must be returned in their original packaging with tags. You are responsible for any decrease in value caused by using the product beyond what is necessary to try it as you would in a store.

Return Shipping Costs:
You are responsible for return shipping costs. These will be deducted from your refund. Please include your invoice or order number on the return label.

Return Shipping Fees:

Denmark: DKK 50
EU: €6
Norway and Switzerland: €15
Rest of the world: €15

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after we receive the returned items.

Damaged Goods:
If a package is visibly damaged on delivery, please refuse acceptance. It will then be automatically returned. If a product proves defective after delivery, contact us immediately at info@elvstromsailwear.com.

Other Important Notes:

Voucher values are non-refundable.
Items purchased online or from dealers cannot be returned to the webshop.
Items purchased from a dealer can only be returned according to the dealer’s policy.

4. Payment, Security, and Data

Payment Methods:
We accept international cards such as VISA/Dankort, MasterCard, Diners, American Express, and Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and Shop Pay.

Payments are processed via a secure, encrypted connection. Accepted currencies: DKK, SEK, NOK, EUR.

Personal Data Policy:
We take your privacy seriously and do not share personal information with third parties. Your data is used to process orders and communicate relevant updates. You can request modification or deletion of your data at any time.

5. Liability

Elvstrøm SailWear A/S is not liable for errors, omissions, out-of-stock products, or changes to the website.

6. Complaints

You are entitled to a 2-year claim period for defective products due to manufacturing or material faults. Normal wear and tear or damage caused by the customer is not covered.

Report defects as soon as possible, ideally within 2 months of discovery.
Securely package any items when returning for inspection. You are responsible until the package reaches us.
If your complaint is valid, we will refund reasonable shipping costs.
