Story of the style
Copenhagen 66 was a solid start to a busy year for Paul Elvstrøm, who made his way into a new venture in the shape of the threeman class, the 5.5 Meter. Elvstrøm prepared the boat locally with two friends. They soon realized they had uncovered a fast setup for their home waters in Copenhagen. The trio picked up lots of pace in the preparations and took GOLD by winning four of six races.
