The story of Kokkedal 68

Kokkedal 68 is here to mark one of the first business successes for Paul Elvstrøm.

After setting up his first sail loft, Paul Elvstrøm’s idea of producing sails turned out successful. By 1968, Elvström Dinghy Sails had moved twice, as it had grown out of its own facilities in size.

The natural expansion was to move into a real factory for the first time – and this happened in 1968, when Elvstrøm opened his new premises in Kokkedal in the area North of Copenhagen.
