Copenhagen 69 led the battle for top honors in Soling to Paul Elvstrøm‘s home waters in Copenhagen. Paul Elvstrøm entered with two local teammates, and the trio took full advantage of their local knowledge and fine-tuned the Soling. They were so fast they even had a protest against them, but having done nothing wrong, the protest was declined. They raced to the GOLD in a wild ride on and off the water.
