Lightweight quilted body warmer in a three layer rib-stop quality. The quilt is made with signature 45 degree diagonal panels placed on upper body and by side panels. The style has hidden hand-pockets with zipper closure and two inside pockets. The Elvstrøm victory badge is positioned on the front, lower left side. Crown logo is on the back, Elvstrøm logo is both on chest and inside. Lining is polyester mesh. The semi functional body-warmer is breathable as well as water and wind-resistant by max 3000mm.

New York 71 was the third-ever Soling class world championship. The class had quickly established itself as a vital class in threeperson keelboats, still being contested today. The championship ended with a BRONZE finish for Paul Elvstrøm and his two Danish teammates.
